Do you mind? I'm working here. running wild in my head, this sentence tries to drown out the shouts and jeers of the weirdly enthusiastic DOTA players of the Cafe I'm blogging in.

Who are they anyway?

The insecure boyfriend of an amazingly gorgeous girl.

The geek whose only life is in the black box called the PC.

The overage man whose only way to get back his lost but not forgotten youth is the game.

Behind every DOTA addict's tired, eyebagged face is a boy, a man, lost - insecure... in need of love. of attention.... so with that...

i choose to smile and understand...

this is not a room filled with happy people... it's a room of sad sad boys whose only future it seems is at the end of every kill.

Up and About:Holy Week Special

Holy Friday in Dumsville is sepia.

Although the rituals here are, oh so alien to me, i still felt the solemnity of the moment as the townsfolk marched the streets with candles and their saints in tow.

The night was auspicious, undeniably. So a scrambled for my camera which i apparently left in my other man-purse (yes, i have a man purse and yes, it does make me gayer, but i couldn't care less...). So i settled with my uber awesome Samsung QWERTY phone with an ok-ish camera.

I got to take these pictures (yay!!!) of the "Stations of the Cross Procession" in Dumaguete city.
